RTU FEEM in collaboration with Georgia Institute of Technology starts development of a new study program

In June 2016, Julia Ellen Melkers, Associate Professor of the School of Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology, visited FEEM. The purpose of the visit was to advise the FEEM academic staff on the development of a new Master’s study program “Public Policy Analysis” and its implementation at RTU in the academic year 2017/2018. At the same time Julia E. Melkers conducted a series of lectures on public management data array analysis methods and means and participated in preparing an application for the ESF project “Human and social capital formation for research, development and innovation in RIS3 areas specialization”.

Associate Professor Julia E. Melkers is an experienced expert in study program evaluation, public management and administration, as well as in the areas of education and career.

Dr. Julia E. Melkers is an associate professor of School of Public Policy in the US. She teaches and conducts research in the areas of public management, organization theory, science and technology policy. She is an experienced international consultant in public policy development and has given her recommendations to the governments of Mexico and Latvia, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the National Research Council, HUD, the states of Alaska and Georgia, and a number of other US states and European countries.
